Each time a visitor uses a Panda Tool or clicks on a; text link, content link, or banner and purchases a product, you earn $$$'s!

How Much Money Can I Earn and How Do I Get Paid?

How much commission will I get?

The Panda Security affiliate program pays between 20% to 30% commission on all Panda Security products bought by the customers you refer to us through your affiliate links.

How does the Panda Security affiliate program know that certain orders came from my Website, and that I should get the commission?

After affiliates are accepted onto the Panda Security affiliate program, they are each assigned a unique affiliate ID (PID) by Commission Junction. This unique identifier allows Commission Junction -- our affiliate marketing affiliate -- to track your sales and commissions. Commission Junction will provide you with access to Panda Security tools, banners, text links, content links, and linking codes which will all include your unique ID.

How and when do Panda Security affiliates get paid?

affiliates are paid monthly. Checks are mailed by Commission Junction to the billing address submitted on your application.

N.B. Commission Junction can also pay affiliates from certain countries by direct deposit into their bank account!

What is a payment threshold?

A payment threshold is the dollar amount in commissions that must be accumulated before a affiliate receives their paycheck. The Panda Security affiliate program has a payment threshold of $0.

Do I keep commissions on cancelled orders?

No. All commissions are updated daily for returns and adjustments. If you receive a commission check before an order is cancelled, your commission balance will show a negative amount that will be deducted from future commissions.

What is the return day cookie policy?

Return days -- or revisit days -- are the number of days that can elapse between an initial visit by a customer you referred, and a return visit in which that customer makes a purchase.

The Panda Security affiliate program offers a 120-day return day cookie policy for affiliates. This means that you will get credit for all sales you referred to PandaSecurity.com up to 45 days after the initial visit. If a customer visits your site, clicks on a link, and doesn't purchase that day, but does place a Web order within the next 120 days -- you still earn commissions! This greatly increases your conversion rates and earning potential.

Where can I track my orders and commissions?

Once you join Commission Junction -- our affiliate marketing affiliate - you'll receive a user name and password via email. When you login to your Commission Junction account -- at www.cj.com - you'll be able to access Panda Security; tools, banners, coupons, content links, and text links in addition to many reporting tools which will allow you to track your orders and commissions.

How does the Panda Security affiliate program work?

The Panda Security affiliate program can be explained in 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Send your Web site visitors to PandaSecurity.com

Once you are approved as a Panda Security affiliate, you'll be able to place Panda Security tools, banners, coupons, text links, and promotional copy on your Web site (you'll be able to get all of these through your Commission Junction account). You'll have a unique affiliate ID to track your sales. This unique affiliate ID is included in every HTML link you grab from your affiliate account in Commission Junction.

Step 2: Your site visitors purchase a Panda Security product

When someone visits your site and clicks on a Panda Security link, they are led to PandaSecurity.com. If that visitor makes a purchase, your unique HTML link tracks your sales and commissions. Once a day, a record is sent to Commission Junction reporting all purchases made that day. You'll earn commission on all qualifying purchases per our return day cookie policy.

You will earn commissions on all Panda Security purchases that take place up to 120 days after you send someone to PandaSecurity.com. So, if someone visits your site, clicks on a Panda Security link, and doesn't buy a product right away, but purchases one in the next 120 days - you'll still get credit for the sale! This greatly increases both your conversion rates and your earning potential.

Step 3: We track your referred sales and pay you commissions

All purchases made per our return day cookie policy from your Web site will be tracked by our affiliate marketing affiliate, Commission Junction.

What types of communications will the Panda Security affiliate Team send me?

The Panda Security affiliate team will occasionally send you e-mail messages that include; special offers and promotions, marketing tips, and updates on affiliate Policies. All communications will include helpful information to assist you increase your earning potential. Commission Junction may also occasionally send announcements to affiliates.

Is there a Panda Security affiliate Agreement?

The Panda Security affiliate program does have a affiliate agreement that all affiliates must review and accept when registering to participate in the program through Commission Junction. The affiliate agreement includes guidelines on Web site content, intellectual property, and the affiliate program components.

Are there rules on trademarks?

Panda Security trademarks may not be altered, modified, amended, or changed in any way. The Panda Security affiliate Agreement details the use of trademarks by affiliates. Failure to comply with this agreement will result in permanent removal from the affiliate program. How do I become a Panda Security affiliate?

It's easy! Just complete and submit an online application through Commission Junction. You will receive an instant e-mail confirming receipt of your application. We will review your application within 48 business hours and notify you of your approval status. Once approved, we will send you everything you need to start making money as a Panda Security affiliate!

Do I have to own a Web site to be a affiliate?

Yes. The Panda Security affiliate Team requires all affiliates to have a Web site to promote Panda Security products. The links - which include your unique commission tracking code -- need to be used on a Web site or in HTML-based e-mail to work properly. The Panda Security affiliate Team provides link support for affiliates, but does not provide Web site support.

Can a affiliate be from outside of the United States?

Yes! We accept affiliates from anywhere in the world.

Does my Web site meet any qualifications for me to become a Panda Security affiliate?

Most Web sites qualify for participation in our program, and we encourage all interested individuals to submit an application. The Panda Security affiliate Team does reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a membership at any time if we feel the site contains objectionable materials. Web sites that will NOT be approved into our program include:

  • Sites that are unavailable or are under construction
  • Aesthetically unpleasing sites
  • Sites with hate/violent/offensive content
  • Sites containing sexually explicit materials
  • Sites promoting alcoholic beverages or excessive drinking/drug use
  • Sites promoting discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
  • Sites that promote violence or illegal activities
  • Sites containing extreme religious content

I own several Web sites. Can I register all of them under the affiliate program and track each Web site separately?

Once you are accepted into the Panda Security affiliate program and receive your account information from Commission Junction, you can then register multiple URL's in your affiliate account and track each Web site separately.

Does it cost me anything to become a affiliate?

No! It is absolutely FREE to join and participate in our affiliate program. There is no charge to apply, and no minimum sales requirements.

How Should I Set Up My Web Site?

How should I design my Web site?

You are free to design your Web site any way you like, as long as it does not violate our affiliate Agreement or contain objectionable content. affiliates can use our promotional copy and links on their Web sites. Our newsletters and this support site will also provide helpful marketing tips on our products, promotions, and positioning.

How often can I change the banners, graphics, and promotional copy on my Web site?

You are welcome to change your Web site content as frequently as you like. The Panda Security affiliate Team will recommend top-converting links to use, however you can test any of the links available to determine what works best on your Web site. New banners, coupons, graphics, and promotional copy will be added frequently to the Commission Junction network, so be sure to check back often! affiliates will also receive announcements and newsletters promoting the new links and promotions.

Can I use content from PandaSecurity.com on my own Web site?

affiliates should NOT use content directly off of PandaSecurity.com without prior written approval from our company, as stated in our affiliate Agreement. Instead, the Panda Security affiliate Team provides specially developed promotions, banners, text links, product pictures, and promotional copy to affiliates to use on their Web sites. If there is something you would like to use on your Web site that you do not see available, please contact me at: James.Nardell@US.PandaSecurity.com.
